For CPA and tax firms
Your contractor clients’ books, finished before they reach you.
You have clients whose books arrive in a state every spring, and cleaning them up eats your season. We keep contractor books every month and hand you a reconciled, CPA-reviewed file. We do not prepare returns, so we are not competing for the client.
The 24-Hour Guarantee— Your first month back in 24 hours, or the next month is free.
What lands on your desk
- Every bank, card, loan and payroll liability account reconciled, with the reports
- Job costs separated from overhead, so gross margin means something
- Retainage, deposits and work in progress on their own lines
- Subcontractor payments by payee, with W-9s on file, ready for 1099s
- Fixed asset additions listed, not buried in repairs
- Owner draws and contributions recorded as what they are
Why firms send us their contractors
We take the part of the file you hate, and give it back finished.
We do not prepare returns
We keep the books and hand you a finished file. The return, the tax advice and the planning stay with you. We are not competing for your client.
Contractor books, specifically
Job costing, retainage, WIP, deposits, subcontractor compliance, prevailing wage. The things general bookkeepers get wrong in exactly the files you spend March fixing.
Reconciled every month, reviewed by a US CPA
Not at year end. Every account, every month, with the reconciliation reports kept — and a US CPA signs every file before it reaches the client.
Judge us on one client first
We do the client’s most recent month free, back within 24 hours of access. You see the work before you put your name behind a referral.
How a referral works
Try us on your worst one.
Pick the contractor client whose books you dread every March. We will do their most recent month free, and you can look at the file before you refer anyone else.
- 01
Introduce us
An email to your client and us, or send them to our site. Nothing about the client needs to come through you.
- 02
We do their last month free
Full close, reconciled and CPA-reviewed, back within 24 hours of read-only access.
- 03
You look at the file
With your client’s permission, you get access to the books or the monthly pack. If it is not good, you have lost nothing.
- 04
They decide
No card, no contract. If they continue, you get books that close every month instead of a shoebox every spring.

Questions accountants ask
The short answers.
- Do you prepare tax returns or give tax advice?
- No. We keep the books and produce the financial statements. Returns, tax advice and planning stay with the client’s CPA — which is the point of working with us.
- Will you try to take over the client relationship?
- No. We do not offer tax services, and when a client asks a tax question we send it back to you. Our work is only useful to them if their CPA can rely on it.
- Who reviews the books?
- A licensed US CPA reviews and signs every file before it reaches the client, every month.
- What software do you work in?
- Mostly QuickBooks Online, and we work in the client’s existing file rather than moving them. If your firm prefers a particular setup, tell us and we will follow it.
- Do you pay referral fees?
- We do not lead with them — most firms refer because it takes cleanup work off their desk. If your firm wants an arrangement, we will discuss one that fits your state board’s rules on referral fees and client disclosure.
- Can you take on a client who is months or years behind?
- Yes. Catch-up work is normal for us. We start with the most recent month, free, then agree a plan for the backlog with the client once we have seen the file.
